Replacing a missing tooth with an implant
Dr. Kristina Kiisa plans and performs both the surgical and the prosthetic stage of implant treatment. You see one dentist from start to finish.

Trained at Karolinska and Goethe University, experience in two countries
“An implant succeeds when the planning, the surgery and the prosthetics speak the same language. In our clinic they are in one dentist's hands.”
Treatment step by step
- 1
Examination and planning
Consultation, X-ray and a 3D scan if needed. We assess the jawbone and draw up a treatment plan with a price.
- 2
Preparatory treatment
If needed, we first treat the gums and teeth or perform bone grafting. The area must be healed before the next step.
- 3
Implant placement
The titanium screw is placed in the jawbone under local anaesthesia. The procedure is quick and you go home the same day.
- 4
Healing
The implant fuses with the bone over a few months. Meanwhile you can have a temporary tooth if needed.
- 5
Healing abutment and impression
After healing we place a healing abutment, shape the gum tissue and take an impression for the permanent tooth.
- 6
Follow-up
We check the result and agree on regular visits. Good oral hygiene keeps an implant going for decades.
