Instructions for patients
Kristina soovis siia nõuanded valu puhuks ning operatsiooni ja juureravi juhised. Vanalt lehelt valmistekste ei leidnud, seega on need mustandid ja ootavad sinu ülevaatust.Take an over-the-counter painkiller according to the package instructions and call us as soon as possible. In case of acute pain we can see you on the same or the next day; call in the morning from 9 o'clock. If your cheek or neck is swollen, you have a fever or swallowing is difficult, go to the emergency department immediately.
Eat a light meal before your visit and take your daily medicines as usual. If you use blood thinners, tell us in advance. Do not drink alcohol on the day of the surgery. We give you all detailed instructions at the consultation.
Keep the gauze pad on the wound for about half an hour. On the first day, do not rinse your mouth or eat or drink anything hot. A cold pack eases swelling, and a regular painkiller eases pain. If the bleeding or pain gets worse instead, call us. We always give you written instructions after the procedure.
The tooth may be sensitive for a few days; this is normal. Avoid chewing hard food with the treated tooth until the permanent filling or crown is in place. If the pain gets worse or swelling appears, let us know.
Katkendjoonega tekstid on mustandid ja ootavad Kristina kinnitust.
